… I didn’t think I was going to have enough yarn to finish my Shapely Tank, but the good news is Elann had more so I ordered 2 skeins. And some washable wool for baby stuff. And some needles I needed. Then I finished my tank:
And I didn’t even need the extra skeins I ordered. But the good news is, now I’ll have a matching purse. :)I’m using this pattern which I’ve wanted to try for a long time.
My EZ knit-along group is working on a percentage sweater, but I still haven’t finished my Adult Surprise Jacket (I’m running out of yarn- surprise), and I have two other sweaters started that I really want to finish this summer (year, century). But we’re also having a sweater drive for the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation and so I knit this to contribute. It’s based on the Guidepost sweater, but with my severe allergy to finishing, I made it totally seamless.
I picked up DD #1’s lace sweater again and started a pair of socks:
Finally got a button for my coral vest (the one DD#1 made is lovely, but bright green. I failed to specify color, so now I want to knit another vest to go with her button):
DD #2 had her 15th birthday party at the pool Wednesday. I took my new Booga Bag (with the yellow purse in it to work on) and my sister loved it. Yea! Now I get to knit another one! She wants it bright pink, green and blue, so I’ll Kool-Aid dye the yarn this weekend. Dad’s at the grocery store buying Kool-Aid for me as I write. Good ol’ Dad. I’ve been listening to Fantasia. Time to go watch- the Sorcerer’s Apprentice is coming up and I can’t miss that!
Wow. A rainbow of colorful projects. I love them all.

What great projects! Is that a salt peanuts vest? Looks really cool. And I love, love, love the rainbow sweater. Too fun. Great tank too. Wow, what a post! Congrats on all of them. :)
