Just because Christmas is only 5 days away and we’ll celebrate with Hubby’s fambly Thursday and mine on Saturday is no reason to panic. Just because I haven’t started Hubby’s socks or DD#1 scarf or DD#2’s shrug. Just because I have yet to finish MIL’s scarf or Mom’s sweater. Just because I have to finish shopping and baking today because I’m going out of town for the day tomorrow is no reason to panic. I am perfectly calm because I have finished something. Little B’s sweater is in the mail.
My sister’s sweater from last Christmas has been finished and delivered. (I was so happy and relieved to unload it I forgot to take a picture.) And my niece’s purse is on its merry way to Florida.
I dyed the wool some months ago then couldn’t find it, so I dyed more. Not that I mind. My love for the overpowering smell of myriad varieties of Kool-Aid wafting through the house transcends my need to do a kagillion other things. I was threatened with bodily harm kindly asked to conduct my yarn experiments when no one else was home. Apparently my family does not share my affinity for the delectable aroma of burnt fruit salad.
I'm off to do my kagillion things, starting with packing a knitting bag for tomorrow.
Merry Christmas and pass the eggnog.
Lovely sweater and bag. Have fun at all of your Christmas celebrations.

Wow, these two FOs are wonderful. Good luck on getting everything else done on time. And have a happy holiday too. :)
